STAR Program

The mission of the Students Taking Academic Responsibility (STAR) Program is to encourage each Hillside High School student to maximize his/her academics potential through consistent daily study. Each STAR participant is assigned a mentor. Mentors provide support and encouragement via monthly phone calls, e-mails or post cards. STAR participants are recognized with special awards and scholarships.
