Beautillion Educational Assistance Program
The Foundation continues to have a genuine concern and strong commitment to the development of our youth. The Beautillion Educational Assistance Program is one component of this thrust.
The Annual Beautillion Militaire Leadership Training and Educational Assistance program has awarded almost $350,000 in educational assistance to deserving high school students from the Durham community for the past 19 years. This program provides for formal programs twice a month from September to March. Participants are selected to participate in the Beautillion Program based on superior scholarship, outstanding leadership, and community involvement. This program provides opportunities for male high school students to attend college life and career seminars and complete for educational assistance. This program received national recognition in "Vibe" Magazine -- September 1999 issue.
