Beautillion Educational Assistance Program

2009 Beautillion: Celebrating 25 Years of Helping Young Men Achieve

The Foundation continues to have a genuine concern and strong commitment to the development of our youth. The Beautillion Educational Assistance Program is one component of this thrust.

The Annual Beautillion Militaire Leadership Training and Educational Assistance program has awarded almost $600,000 in educational assistance to deserving high school students from the Durham community for the past 24 years. This program provides for formal programs twice a month from September to March. Participants are selected to participate in the Beautillion Program based on superior scholarship, outstanding leadership, and community involvement. This program provides opportunities for male high school students to attend seminars on the college experience, career and professional development, and a chance to compete for educational assistance. Additionally, the Beautillion has received national recognition in Vibe Magazine – September 1999 issue.
